Special Meals
Our delicious special meals can be ordered free of charge up to 48 hours before departure via My bookings on lufthansa.com, the Discover Airlines Service Center or through your travel agency. The offer is available for passengers in all travel classes on long-haul flights and for Business Class passengers on all short and medium-haul flights.
The following special meals are available:
- Vegan: No meat or fish products, no dairy products or eggs, no alcohol
- Meal for gluten-intolerant passengers: The meal will be prepared without ingredients containing gluten
- Meal for lactose-intolerant passengers: The meal will be prepared without ingredients containing lactose
- Kosher meal: Strictly kosher food prepared under the supervision of a rabbinate (not available on flights from Halifax, Anchorage, Punta Cana, La Romana, Windhoek, Victoria Falls, Mombasa, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro and Mauritius to Frankfurt)
- Children's menu: Delicious children's menus for our little guests
Additional special meals on Canada flights:
Two additional special meal options are available on flights to and from Canada: vegetarian Asian (Indian) meals and Muslim meals. These special meals are offered exclusively on these routes.
