Discover Airlines is the Lufthansa Group's quality leisure airline in Germany, flying travelers from Frankfurt and Munich to the most beautiful holiday destinations in the world. A cutting-edge product tailored to the needs of leisure travelers and the crew’s welcoming service, make flying with Discover Airlines a real pleasure. Since the summer of 2021, Discover Airlines has complemented the Lufthansa Group's offering in the growing segment of leisure travel. Guests benefit from an end-to-end booking process and seamless transfers at the Frankfurt and Munich hubs as well as at many global destinations of the Lufthansa Group and its partner airlines. Discover Airlines is headquartered in Frankfurt, currently operates a fleet of 24 aircraft and employs around 2,000 people. The flights can be booked on discover-airlines.com, via all booking channels and websites of the Lufthansa Group, and in travel agencies.

Our fleet
High range, high passenger capacity and high efficiency – Discover Airlines relies on a combination of the Airbus A330 on long-haul routes and the Airbus A320 on short- and medium-haul routes. The Discover Airlines fleet consists of 24 aircraft in total—13 Airbus A330s and 11 Airbus A320s.
Our responsibility
Offset flight emissions together
We are always looking for new ways to reduce and offset flight emissions. To achieve this, we are working together with partners such as Compensaid and myclimate who represent more sustainable travel. All Discover Airlines flights can be carbon offset during the booking process on lufthansa.com. In addition, we offer all passengers the option of offsetting their flights on board.
Green Fares
With the “Green Fares” more sustainable flying gets easier and is available for all customers on the Lufthansa Group owned booking channels. Green fares enable guests to fly more sustainably through the combination of Sustainable Aviation Fuel purchasing (reduces 20% of individual CO2 emission) and a contribution to high quality climate projects in the amount of the individual related emission tracked (offsetting of 80% of individual emission).

Discover Airlines winter flight schedule 2024/25: More flights to more destinations from Frankfurt and Munich
Discover Airlines starts the winter season at the end of October with a versatile flight program. Compared to last year, the leisure airline has new destinations to offer, is increasing popular connections and is also taking off from Germany's second-largest airport, Munich.

Summer 2024: Discover Airlines takes off from Munich again

Discover Airlines has equipped one of its short-haul aircraft with a new, worldwide unique digital entertainment system. In winter 2024/25: Discover Airlines launches first non-stop connection from Europe to Tulum
The leisure airline is adding a very special destination to its route network for the upcoming winter flight schedule: Discover Airlines will then be the only airline offering nonstop flights between Europe and Tulum, Mexico. The Aeropuerto Internacional de Tulum Felipe Carrillo Puerto has only been opened last December.

Quality in focus: Discover Airlines further upgrades Premium Economy Class
Discover Airlines has further developed its Premium Economy Class service on long-haul routes. Similar to Business Class, food and beverages are now served on porcelain and in glasses instead of plastic and in aluminium. Furthermore, travelers can look forward to an additional cheese platter, which will round off the first service after take-off.

In winter 2024/25: Discover Airlines expands route network and flies to Norway and Finland
In the 2024/25 winter flight schedule, Discover Airlines is expanding its route network with the two new additions of Alta in Norway and Kittilä in Finland. Both destinations are located in the Arctic Circle and form a contrast to the leisure airline's normally predominantly southern holiday destinations.

Gateway to the Lofoten Islands: Eurowings Discover flies to Evenes in Norway starting summer 2024
Starting in summer 2024, Eurowings Discover will add two weekly nonstop flights between Frankfurt and Harstad/Narvik Airport in Evenes to its flight schedule. The municipality is located in the north of Norway and is an ideal starting point for a trip to the Lofoten Islands.
