Important information: Please note that it is not possible to check in your baggage before your flight directly at the AIRail terminal at Frankfurt Airport for Discover Airlines flights. Please use the Discover Airlines check-in counters in Terminal 1. Baggage claim after your Discover Airlines flight takes place directly in the AIRail terminal if you have booked Express Rail.

In the flight search, select one of the many Express Rail stations as your departure airport. Afterwards select your Express Rail connection in the flight overview. You can now easily book and check in online for both your train and flight between 23 hours and 15 minutes before departure. Enjoy a seamless and relaxed journey to your departure at Frankfurt Airport – with a transfer guarantee.
You can use Express Rail from the following cities: Aachen, Basel, Berlin, Bremen, Cologne, Dortmund, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Erfurt, Freiburg, Göttingen, Hamburg, Hanover, Kassel, Karlsruhe, Leipzig, Mannheim, Munich, Münster, Nuremberg, Osnabrück, Stuttgart, Ulm and Würzburg.
Important advice for your journey with Express Rail
- Check in online or via your mobile between 23 hours and 15 minutes before departure.
- Your boarding pass serves as your ticket for the train.
- The route between the long-distance train station and Terminal 1 is very well signposted and you can walk it in just a few minutes. Should you be short of time, as an Express Rail customer you have the option of using the Fast Lanes at security.
